JAMBOREE - postponed from Tues 16 June 2020

Please note, bookings are still being accepted, but cheques are not yet being banked in case we have to cancel (or rather, postpone, perhaps to next year).  If you would like to attend, please book with confidence that any monies paid will be refunded (or cheques simply not banked) if the current pandemic crisis forces us to postpone, or that you would be able to carry your booking forward to a proposed new date if it is convenient for you.

Every couple of years the OSA arranges a big event for all branches to join in together, and this is called the Jamboree.  This is a great chance to have a fun day out and meet members of all four of the OSA branches, including people you don’t normally see at your own branch socials.

This year’s Jamboree will be a 4 hour boat trip on the Thames from/to Windsor with a finger buffet lunch included, and a cash bar.  We are chartering a boat (exact one depends on numbers) from French Brothers so that we have enough room for lots of members and their guests, and have exclusive use of the vessel.  All vessels have toilets on board.  Special dietary requirements can be catered for providing you tell us when booking so that they have plenty of advance notice.

Price per person is £30, which includes a 4-hour cruise and the finger buffet.  There will be a cash bar on board.   Tickets and a map of where to board (which is an easy walk from either railway station in Windsor) will be sent out to participants nearer the date.

Please see your branch Spring Newsletter for details of how to book.
