We hold a variety of social events during the year across the Wessex patch and beyond.

THE ISAMBARD KINGDOM BRUNEL – JD WETHERSPOON, 2, GUILDHALL WALK, PORTSMOUTH.

This venue has just undergone a massive refurbishment costing over £1m.

BRANKSOME RAILWAY HOTEL, 429 POOLE ROAD, BRANKSOME BH12 1DQ.
Opposite Branksome Railway Station. Doors open at 12 noon.
We have exclusive use of the lounge between 12 noon and 14.00hrs.
Coffee & biscuits around £2. Bar open. Raffle.
TUESDAY 13th OCTOBER 2026
THE WAGON WORKS, 28 Southampton Road, Eastleigh SO50 9FJ.
Opposite Eastleigh Railway Station. Meet as from 11.00hrs.
Coffee around £2.00. Food served all day. Wetherspoons menu.

Forthcoming events are publicised to members through branch newsletters, and many are available to members of other branches too.

In addition, Wessex Branch members are also welcome at the informal
‘Get-togethers’ which have been arranged at Wetherspoon pubs in Kent from 12.00hrs onwards. These are not organised events. You are welcome to just turn up and join the group for a chat and a drink in a friendly atmosphere, and lunch too if you want, all at own expense.
All OSA members are welcome.
