Association - Wessex Branch

We hold a variety of social events during the year across the Wessex patch. Details of forthcoming

get-togethers are shown below.

Forthcoming events

Tuesday 10th March 2020 at The Railway Hotel, Poole Road, Branksome (opposite Branksome railway station).

Coffee Morning and Social. Coffee and biscuits £1.20 and cash bar will be open as well. Raffle. Please note no hot food served.

Commences at 11.00hrs.

Tuesday 17th March 2020 at The Railway Club, Brunel House, Fisherton Street, Salisbury SP2 7RL.

Coffee and Buffet, all prepared by volunteer railway club members. Costs £2.50 payable at the door.

The Club is about a 5 minute walk from the railway station, and a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Buses go along Fisherton Street to the Market Square.

Commences at 10.30hrs. and the cash bar opens at 12 noon.

Tuesday 21st April 2020 at The Railway Institute, Romsey Road, Eastleigh.

Part Two of illustrated talk by Paul James, entitled "Hamworthy to Weymouth". Followed by the Branch's Annual General Meeting. Please support us and attend this annual event.

Commences at 13.00hrs.

Tuesday 18th May 2020 at The Wagon Works (Wetherspoon), Eastleigh, opposite the railway station entrance.

Coffee morning - unlimited refills - cost is £1.35. Raffle. Venue serves food all day, and breakfast until noon, for those who'd like a meal.

Tuesday 8th June 2020 at The Railway Hotel, Branksome (opposite the railway station).

Coffee morning and social. Coffee and biscuits £1.20 and a cash bar will be open as well. Raffle. Please note that no hot food is served.

Tuesday 21st July 2020 at The River Inn, Bishopstoke.

Coffee morning- cost £2.50 with biscuits. Garden available if weather is fine. Raffle. For those wishing to stay for lunch, it being a Toby there's a Carvery from noon.

For those coming by car, there is number plate check-in at reception. For those coming by public transport, take the number 2 bus from Eastleigh Bus Station.
